i heart kabbalah.
Today, realize that all the relationships in your life have the potential to be soul mate worthy. The more you focus on the other person, on what they might need in any given moment, the closer you will come to revealing the deeper, more beautiful aspects of your bond.

apparently i am on a cure tangent..
"Just put your hands around my heart
And squeeze me until I'm dry
I never thought you'd ever start to ever ask me why
I never saw you again"

sweetjune.
june does not love the hospital.
and she has lots of things sticked in and hooked up to her.
BUT she did love her cheesecake. AND she is still singing her songs. there is always good somewhere.
daily kabbalah tune up: sunday march 23rd
this one is really hitting home with me..
Do you want to know a profoundly simple way to get guidance from your soul, every day and every night? Here it is: ask yourself, am I giving or taking right now?
When you take a deep breath in, you feel pressure in your lungs that forces you to breathe out. But in life, we don't see how much we are taking and how much that blocks our connection to our souls. You'd be amazed how much clarity you can have by restricting your taking, and expanding your giving.
Do it today. Ask yourself, over and over, am I taking or giving? Am I taking or giving? Am I taking or giving? You'll get the hang of it.
our saturday afternoon.
she is okay. she was still singing songs to me (you are my sunshine)and making the nurses laugh. im off now to take june some cheesecake. send your love and good thoughts her way.

Wordsmith.org Word of the Day March 21:
karuna (KUH-roo-na) noun
Loving compassion.
[From Sanskrit karuna (compassion).]
"Once we experience and feel this inter-dependence of all living
beings,
we will cease to hurt, humiliate, exploit and kill another. We will
want
to free all sentient beings from suffering. This is karuna,
compassion,
which in turn gives rise to the responsibility to create happiness
and
its causes for all."

India

Rita Golden Gelman: Female Nomad
i finished this wonderful book about a month ago. at the end of the book it listed rita's website. i immediately pulled it up and was surprised [delighted] to find rita hanging out in fort collins for a couple months. i emailed rita to say hi and send along my thanks and admiration and also see about the possibility meeting her.
i just spent the morning with this wonderful and amazing lady. she challenges convention, crosses cultural barriers and lives her life with an open heart. i am in awe--- her joy for people, culture and life as well as her candid humour mixed in with her strong political convictions [in her words 'Bush is a murderer"] -- Rita is an inspiration. i highly recommend this book!

bad dream? i think not.
i had a dream last nite i cracked & broke my camera lens. i was utterly devastated. but then i picked up my camera and looked through the peekhole and the cracks in the lens were filling up with blood (yes, my camera has a soul) and there were the most beautiful images in front of me for the taking...it was perfect. i still woke up with that dread that the dream was real and my camera was broken. but i love this dream because it reminds me of the beauty in even the worst imaginable happenings. dear camera, i love you.
